You’ll find an excellent review of the sousVide Supreme water bath at Gizmodo.com. Wilson Rothman tested loads of different dishes and offers some pros and cons, some of which are a bit strange to me and seems driven by misunderstanding of what you can really achieve with sous vide , I particularly disagree when it comes to the views of the author about sous vide-ing fish saying that sous vide would be a liability. On the over side of the spectrum you have a review of the same SousVide Supreme on the Popular Science website. To his credit the link is given by Wilson Rothman from Gizmodo at the end of his article saying that it would be a good article to read to help you make a better informed opinion. John Mahoney from PopSci went through a very similar testing phase but came out with a more favorable view of the product and the process. Check it out here.
